I'm running DHCP on my network. I don't configure static IP-addresses. Instead I do MAC reservation.
So I really miss the possibility to enter a fallback IP-address, just like every UBNT device.
Could you please add it to next firmware ?

If you enable DHCP client address on the WISP Switches they get a DHCP address but if DHCP fails it falls back to the Static address you assign but continues to try and get a DHCP address and will switch back to DHCP if it gets one.
Is this not what you want??????

But as I explained I think we are way ahead of you here. Although you need to have your switches upgraded as this was a bug fixed recently (read release notes)

Nice, so if I enter a static IP-address. Save and change to DHCP, the former static IP-address is the fallback IP-address ?

Yes, you can actually set the Static and select DHCP in the same SAVE/APPLY cycle, no need to break up steps.
BUT MAKE SURE YOU ARE RUNNING NEW FIRMWARE AS THERE WAS A BUG!!!!!!

So am I good to go with v1.3.8 - FINAL ?
Also, will changing IP-address affect use ? It will not, just to be 100% sure break any customer traffic ?

I always recommend LABi ng something new you have not used before but it "should" be fine.
Also If I was you I would use v1.3.9rc8 as it has several fixes.

THe UBNT style of fallback does not let you set subnet mask, gateway, or DNS so it is only good for recovery if you direct connect to it.
