Canopy 430AP

I would assume this one is not even an option with the odd wiring?

Cambium pinout normally work on standard PoE by reversing blue and brown pair. I've tryed it with ePMP but not with 430.

no, the PMP 320, and the PMP 430 have very unique wiring, they won't carry on anything but that POE supply or the CMM4.

if you get into the user manual, or check the power brick it shows the power layout and they apply power in the data pins, and its mixed up too.

I swapped blue with brown on far end of cat5 and it powers fine from netonix in 48v mode.

I do not see how this does not fry your port?

I can see swapping both pairs pins 4,5 with pins 7,8 on one side but you are creating a cross short between pairs this way. - BAD

Just be warned that cross shorts are not covered under warranty and this type of damage is easy to spot during repair. - GOOD LUCK

the ws-6 switch (when powered by POE) will not boot up a Canopy 430AP with the configuration we suggested, keeps rebooting, I think it is too much startup amperage, works fine on dc 250 and ac 250 version,

I think it worked with barrel connection even on the ws-6 but I cannot replicate test as I have to locate another barrel connector,

What were you using to power the WS-6-MINI, a AF24 POE brick or another WISP Switch?

And if a WISP switch what is the power rating on the WISP Switch 48VH port as older Rev boards only support 1.2A on 48VH but newer Rev boards support 1.5A

I tried powering ws-6 mini via a 48VH port on a dc Netonix and on 48VH AC Netonix, as well as a 1.2 amp Ubiquity power supply for the airfiber 24.
Also the radio shows it requires 915 ma which is over the .75 amp in the switch, but I measured it when running on the bigger two switches, and it never went over 15 watts.
Might be a startup amp requirement issue?
