if you have a console that says Redboot you bust have un-powered it during a firmware upgrade.
Your only choice now is to do a Console TFTP recover routine up here.

Yep, that did the trick, thanks a lot :)
A couple notes in case it helps anyone else attempting this:
1. I was unable to get the HTPE terminal to behave, to I used the ExtraPuTTY 0.29 to do the transfer. Normal PuTTY won't work because it doesn't transfer files, and you need to send a file to your Netonix box.
2. I had a couple instances where the terminal rx command failed midway, so stay patient.

File_Transfer -> Xmodem -> Send
and then select your file, otherwise the screen will just sit there for awhile repeating the 'C' character while it's waiting for an input :)
