Problem with WS-12-250-AC and VOIP

Sun Oct 18, 2015 7:25 pm

Im at a loss and not sure if the problem I have is related to the WS-12-250-AC so time to ask the professionals.

Current situation is clients have no VOIP telephony working. I have spoken to both my ISP and the VOIP provider and they both claim that its not related to them. I basically replaced an old TS pro 8 port with the new switch, turned on the PoE on serveral ports and unchecked FC and MC. Any other info Im happy to supply. Im not everyones favoute WISP at the moment. Thanks in advance.

Since the switch is a simple Layer 2 device and does not offer any routing or filtering and if the client can browse the web then I would look elsewhere.

However I would enable Flow Control (It is really needed in the wireless industry), and I would also enable multi-cast.
