Excellent news! How does this affect the 12-port models?

Well the 12 port models were not experiencing the problem which is why I tend to lean towards the pull up resistor on GPIO pin 8 which handled interrupt polling between the VSC8512 and VSC7427 but we are implementing the oscillator and resistor on the timing circuit regardless.

Therefore the 12 ports would have been unaffected but they will also receive the new parts anyway.

I "should" start receiving new boards by end of week.

Chris:

Thanks for all of the updates and honesty / openness. That is definitely valuable in my opinion and cannot wait to get my hands on the first of what I hope will be many of these switches. Cannot wait to see the software feature set evolve as well once you are past the hardware hurdles.

Thanks and keep moving forward!

Congratulations on your milestone! The next milestone is when the ink turns black, which I hope will be soon. Then you can start folding that in more great products.

I get another shipment of switch boards tomorrow. I think they are WS-24-400A units and I should have enough to finally fill all of that models back orders.

I will get a couple hundred boards with a mix of all models by the end of next week which should finish all back orders finally.

A week after that and I get a couple hundred more, and then a week or so after that over a thousand units and another 1,500 or so in late November!

I will be replacing the last of my ToughSwitches this weekend....YEA!!!!! I too had to wait until I could get enough switches from Netonix! - LOL

And yes my uploads and downloads are the same or very close anyway!.

CRAZY weekend

Sun Oct 19, 2014 8:57 pm

Shew what a crazy ride these past few days on firmware! Image
It looks like v1.0.1rc11 is pretty darn stable now and fixes the upgrade and reboot issues. Image

I spent the day getting a bunch of WS-24-400A switches ready to ship out tomorrow.

Looks like I will be able to fill all WS-24-400A back orders tomorrow and still have about 20 extra unspoken for to sell.

I am expecting 196 switches later this week (from test production run):
(50) WS-24-400A
(50) WS-24-400B
(48) WS-12-250A
(48) WS-12-250B

Then in about a week another 50+/- switches (last of test run)

By the end of the month I am expecting 1,400 switches (first real production run).
Then another 1,520 switches by the end of December. (second production run).

Chris - Congrats on getting through the FW refinements. I sent a couple of emails but I think you've been busy :-)

How can I place an order for switches? The website just says out of stock and won't let me order or preorder.

Thanks.

Oh...PB M5-500AC sheilds? Need to order those too...
