Re: DC Switch ETA
Well that is good news since I just reread the post. The switch I ordered is an 8 port so I won't be waiting too much longer.

Re: DC Switch ETA
OK so I just got a call back from the Decal contractor.
They are going to expedite the order for $600.00 expedited fee - OUCH. -
They say then can have at least 50 decals ready to ship Thursday so here on Friday (I pay overnight fees of course) and the balance of the decals will ship Friday or Monday here on Monday or Tuesday next week (I pay overnight shipping again).

Re: DC Switch ETA
I'm confused pal, do you have any WS-8-250-DC available, or available soon? We need to get some more headed this way.

All the WS-8-250-DC units are built
All the WS-12-DC units are built
The WS-12-250-DC units are not built - waiting on decals
We are flashing and testing all the WS-8-250-DC units today and tomorrow.
We are flashing and testing the WS-12-DC units Friday
We are supposed to receive 50 WS-12-250-DC decals Friday and we will build those 50 units Friday.
Saturday we are Flashing and Testing the (50) WS-12-250-DC units and boxing the units completed to date.
Sunday is a slop day which is being held in reserve if needed to finish what does not get done Saturday
Monday we will start shipping out WS-8-250-DC and WS-12-DC units oldest orders first.
We will be looking for orders we can ship complete so when we run out WS-12-250-DC units we will proceed filling orders without WS-12-250-DC
Monday or Tuesday we will receive the rest of the WS-12-250-DC decals (550)
Once we receive those decals we will start to build them, flash them and test them and ship as soon as we can.
We are still in shakedown mode on assembly which means every switch we will manually flash the firmware then manually test every port, current sensors and voltages. after the unit is verified we then serialize the unit (assign the MAC).
The reason we are doing such in depth manual testing is we are tweaking our automatic testing program built into the firmware for when we shift into "mass" production.
This also exposes any potential SMT assembly procedures failures.
Our goal is to have all Pre-Orders out next week.
We apologize for the delay.

Status of Current DC Switch Production Batch
OK, so by Thursday all Pre-Orders of DC switches will be shipped.
They would be all shipped by tomorrow but we ran out of parent boxes for some switch counts.
All WS-8-250-DC units have been built and boxed (everyone that bought one will get theirs).
Enough WS-12-250-DC units have been built to fill all Pre-Orders and we now have a positive supply of 250+/- but the whole parent box thing messes up shipping but we get more parent boxes Thursday.

So with that being said a LOT of you should have gotten tracking numbers today, some will get some tomorrow and the rest will receive tracking numbers Thursday when we get more parent boxes.
I really appreciate your guy's support and EXTREME patience in this matter!
Sadly when these DC units are sold the next batch will be 6 weeks +/- out so say mid November but we will try to speed that up if at all possible.
Once again thank you guys!
