We're putting a lot of 'ADSL Fibre' or VDSL lines into remote boxes at the moment, and are currently using Draytek 130' VDSL/ADSL modems, which are pretty good. However, they do require a wee transformer, and run hot.
Anyone found a small, PoE powered VDSL modem out there?

Off topic question. Anyone got a small, PoE VDSL/ADSL modem?

I take it you are not using the BT Openreach VDSL modem and instead using the Draytek as the VDSL modem?
Don't think you will find any PoE powered VDSL modems, however you may find a solution along the lines of a passive PoE splitter. As long as it outputs the right voltage and you can find the right size barrel connector/or hack it, then you may be onto a winner?
