We will be releasing a v1.3.1 with the reported bug fixes maybe this evening.
Support is handled on the Forums not in Emails and PMs.

Posts elsewhere on this forum state that for short cables lengths 24v is fine.
It is not possible to "in rapid succession" bounce the port with the web gui....the pop up window procedure and refresh takes more time than "rapid succession". There may be a way to do it with CLI but I don't know how to do that.
There is no surge protection...this is a lab setup with the AF5x connected with a 50ft coiled up STP cable.
I re-did the test and, you're right, the shorts weren't real....it seems that you have to wait for the AF5x to completely boot (considerably longer that other ubnt radios) and then do the cable diags...

I get the same results with 24v and 24VH.
The original test port 3 still shows the pair 2 short with nothing plugged into the port.
I guess my question is whether the very, very short bounce routine would put inrush current stress on the port causing the failure...and by extension, whether the rapid power cycle could do any harm to the radio and would it be prudent to extend the bounce time to something longer as with the original 5 seconds.

How much of a cost would it be to have the another feature like Port Bounce but have it set on a timer that will auto kill the poe every 7,14,21,28 days? and keep the power off for 5 mins? For my use this would be a great improvement to your already great switch
