Wish List : HTTP admin mode

Hi,

It would be nice to have an HTTP mode for the admin console, right now unless I missed something only HTTPS is proposed for web access.

We decided a while ago to move all of our gear admin to HTTP instead of HTTPS: no more waste of time validating/managing certificate, and when admin over a poor/nearly broken radio link in case of emergency often HTTP (or telnet) will work but not HTTPS (nor SSH) due to the added round trips and overhead, so this could save a round trip to the tower.

PS: we've completed a first round of lab testing and decided to start replacing TS5 and TS8 by Netonix in our production network next week when our 10 switches order arrives :).

I will talk to with Eric and see about allowing the user to select HTTP or HTTPS and SSH or TELNET?

Me too, I like to use http but on a different port ASAP please
