Thanks for all that info, but it didnt answer my question which was what is the polyfuse part number?
Ill open up one i have on the shelf and look. I have about 6 WS-12-250-A REVC.
I am interested in the manufacturers specs for those polyfuses.
I ended up testing (2) separate setups, each setup was a RB1100AHx2 and a WS-12-250A REV C with the RB1100 powered from port 12 (24 volt,.5 amp) port.
I ran a cable between both RB1100's and did a tcp 20 stream bandwidth test for 24 hrs between the RBs. CPU on each router board was 70-90% for 24 hrs solid. The WISP switch said averave 18 watts during this 24 hrs. BTW, this was room temperature.
The tests were successful. There was no issues with this "burn in" test. Seems the .5 amp rating on ports 5-12 are conservatively rated :)
I have both setups in production now for several days, all is well. Under normal operation, the routerboards are running approx 15% CPU load, and the switch reports 16 Watts continous (yes, on the 1hr graph)
