Could I put a mini 6 in the middle of a 600' run and still power a radio on the far end? This would solve problems I've ran into before.

Yes provided the WS-6-MINI in the middle is feed enough power via 48VH (all 4 pair) to power the end unit.
If you feed a WS-6-MINI with a 48VH port from one of our switches with a newer RevD board it can deliver "over" 1.5A, older RevB or RevC boards max out at 1.5A but we only rate them at 1.2A before you could damage the Ethernet Transformers plus the Polyfuses in the older boards will trip at 1.5A at less than 55C where as the RevD boards will push 1.5A at 55C before tripping so probably closer to 2A at a reasonable temperature and the Ethernet Transformers in the RevD boards are rated to 1A per pair so a total of 2A
But even with using a 1.2A airFIBER injector you could power a WS-6-MINI at 300 feet then out another 300' to another WS-6-MINI and power several airMAX Rockets no problem.
But if you were using our switches to power it and that switch had the newer RevD board in it you could daisy chain 2 switches and power several airMAX radios and possibly an airFIBER, depending on your voltage drop which will depend on the quality of the cable you use but figure standard 24AWG using 4 pair you lose less than 1 volts and less than 1 watt in 300 feet so the first WS-6-MINI gets 48-49 volts and the second MINI gets 47-48V.
The nice thing about using our switch to power this is our switch will tell you how much voltage and current you are sending out the port and each MINI will tell you how much input voltage you are getting in and sending out.

I think so but all are at least RevC.
RevC which for sure can still deliver 1.2A to 1.5A ON A 48VH port which is a TON of current!
Even after 600 Feet you still have 47 to 49V and over 1.2A which is enough to power several airMAX radios or an airFIBER and maybe 1 or 2 airMAX radios.
I have all 24 ports FILLED on some of my switches only using 200+/- watts of 48-50V which is 4A, I do not care if you had RevA you are fine!!!

how far could these little minis be pushed if they where not powering radios? 4 or 5 minis 300' in between or possibly more? or is it just watch the source load on the first switch and don't exceed wattage and don't let the last switch drop below X voltage? sheer morbid curiosity here lol
by the way, we got our first 3 12 port switches in today. the interface is amazing, easy to setup. simply love these guys.

Pretty much try it and see but if you want an educated guess
If you drop 1 volt per hop and assume less than 20 watts per hop then I would "guess" you could push it out at to 5 hops maybe 6 but this is a guess

Im curious to see, I'll probably give this a try in the next few weeks on the bench, we've got a lot of tough switches to replace over the next few weeks.
I know the specification limit is 328 feet, but from your experience how far of a run does it take to truly break 100 meg or 1g Ethernet ?

Depends on cable, ends and equipment
I never tried to push ours yet, obviously better cable will get you some extra feet
In the past I have pushed 10M gear way way over 300 feet

Cascading Mini6 units - how many?
I have a situation where i would like to have up to 3 Mini6 units in cascading config. Like this:
WS-8-250-AC
170ft cat5
Mini6
120ft cat5
Mini6
110ft cat5
Mini6
All fed via POE from the one before. Any issues?

This was already discussed so I just moved your post into the correct thread so read this thread for your answer.
You do not really say what you want to power if any at each switch but it is pretty straight forward thinking.
If you are powering from a WS-8-250-AC 48VH port (port 1 or 2) then just keep an eye on how many watts it is pushing out and the voltage drop at the end.
Always POE IN one port 1 of the MINI and POE OUT on port 2 to the next MINI so you always are using all 4 pairs.
I would not put more then 1.2A constant load on the WS-8 port or 1.5A on a WS-12-250-AC
Of you pull more load than this you could damage your Ethernet transformer.
