Just tryed the Maxwave MW-1513-SM-US and MW-1315-SM-US in lab. Seem to work fine. Those are single mode WDM (2 channels for full duplex over a single fibe).

Few modules I've tried in my WS-24-400A's.

Seems to work fine:
Maxxwave MW-LX-SM-US
Maxxwave MW-SX-MM-US

DOES NOT WORK:
Mikrotik DDM matched pair S-53LC20D/S-35LC20D.
OEM Optic DDM matched pair GLC-BX-U-00/GLC-BX-D-00

As soon as the SFP is inserted, It starts spewing the below in the log. And about 50% of the time, Causes the switch to reboot. Upon reboot, The fans spin full speed and never come down. And the status page shows no fan rpm, Or 48/24v rail voltages.

Thanks Nick, I know Eric has ordered a Microtik router and these SFP modules so he can LAB this and maybe eventually support them but for now it is nice to know NOT to use them.

Now that I moved your post into the appropriate thread just look up.

It is not a complete list as it is impossible to know what will and will not work without buying 1 of each and that will not happen.

basically Cisco compatible SFP modules.

I just ordered a WS-24-400B and WS-12-250B-AC set for a fiber backhaul between my CO and Headend facility. I am using a set of MikroTik S-3553LC20D over a single fiber. I bought them from Streakwave. They linked up right away and have been going strong for about a week now.

This is sold as 'MikroTik SFP+ Direct Attach Cable - 3M' - for example: https://www.msdist.co.uk/product_MikroT ... ble-3M.php

Its basically a hardwired copper 10gig SFP+ module, which also works in an SFP cage. I've got one plugged into my WISP router (250B), and the other end in a Mikrotik 260 switch. Both ends report the link as live, active, etc. Both ends appear to push data, the wisp switch is apparently not receiving any data.

However, I can't 'ping' the other device (from either device).

EG.

Wisp Switch - IP address 10.100.11.2
Mikrotik Switch - IP address 10.100.11.3
No VLAN setup, etc, all ports forward to all ports.

And yet ping doesn't work between them (either from the Wisp switch web management page, or from a device plugged into ether switch).

Am I doing something particularly stupid? WISP switch firmware is 1.0.9 and Mikrotik is 1.14 (latest). Both got pulled out of boxes two hours ago.
