I just wanted to let you know that I've posted a glowing review of the WS-6-MINI on our website, http://wisptools.net/content.php?id=40 . We'd originally planned to post an in-depth review, but disaster struck and we had to replace a ToughSwitch in a hurry (due to water getting into a NEMA box). The switch was easy to setup under fire, and is performing very, very well - much better than the switch it is replacing. If I see you guys at a WISP get-together, I owe you a beer!
We'll post a more in-depth review when the next one arrives, and (hopefully!) we don't have any disasters preventing us from doing proper testing. We wanted to let people know how great your product is - it saved our bacon today, performs really well, and was super-easy to setup. (My only nitpick: you might want to add an "n" to "replacemet parts" on your front page)
Thanks!

Good story! I am a fan of the MINI, but it will not survive a flooded NEMA box any better than a TS....

Over here in Sunny Scotland (okay I made that bit up) we call 'em IP55 or IP66 boxes. Basically plastic things that will survive a firehose. Or 'Summer' as we call it.
However, I do still tend to drill a drain hole at the back. Just for luck,.

Very true (and I'm not quite sure how one would make a waterproof switch that didn't overheat!). Now that it's stopped raining, replacing the box that leaked is a priority (even though we repaired it, we don't trust it!). It's been unusually wet here this year; Missouri tends to either have a lot of rain or very little, and we'd had enough years of very little to become a little overconfident about it.

Ha, I know exactly what you mean there. I actually grew up in Hull (England, rather than the one in Illinois) before I moved out here. I used to miss the rain sometimes...
My coworkers are sufficiently impressed with the switch that have already ordered more, and are looking at the larger models for our bigger sites (especially if we can find some of the DC units in stock somewhere; we already have nice DC battery-backed power plants, it'd be nice for them to feed more than the Motorola WiMAX stuff!). :-)

Here in Canada we use metal NEMA boxes to keep out rain, snow, dust, bugs, and critters.

Well, here in Texas, we got bugs and critters too. But they are just way to big to fit thru little cracks.....
