Is the Shire anywhere close to there or is that closer to Mordor or maybe Gondor?
Now you need a nice Netonix switch to power that site!

As per my profile here on the Netonix forum its quietly in the south island of New Zealand. These 2 particular sites are mains powered sites which are getting gig Cisco switches which we had lying around. How ever we are waiting patiently for your DC switches for our solar sites!

I loved your story on the forum. Quite a link, and great for only 30Mhz! How's it do at 40 and 50Mhz?

Re: AF5X Success story for you guys.
We haven't tested it at 40 or 50 as we don't have the spectrum to do this. How ever when we change out the primary af5 to 5x we might play with this first 5x backup link to see what it dose on the wider channels. We should be able to test it higher in the band but won't be able to leave it up there. Will post results when we get this done.
Completely loving the 5x they are a new league in the WISP industry. Not one issue since going live within hours of link being up! Almost 8 days :)

Re: AF5X Success story for you guys.
I should also mention these AF radios are amazing with collocating! At the slave end the AF5 is on 5825 20mhz down link which goes 5815-5835 and this 5x is on 5850.... 5835-5865. The shielded TI XW link behind the AF5 is on 20mhz 5865... 5855-5875.
As you can see the 5x is touching the edge with the AF5 at 5835 and overlapping the edge to the center of the Ti link to 5865. Pretty amazing as there is absolutely no interference between all 3 links.
