FAT PIGEON crushed the cable
ok, so it was more likely the AC guy that was up there on the roof a month ago. I found a crushed spot on the cable, Port #2 on the netonix switch seems to be bbq'd, although still able to provide poe, it does not do anything else, no negotiate, no test with meaning, it just hears dial tone in its head duuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. What kind of crap is this, can't support a multihour short
Pair #2 showed up as having a short when the cable tested in any other port, replace bad cable, baboom all is well.
