I need to power some Axis PTZ cameras at a remote 48V solar site. I'm seeing a bunch of different requirements for IEEE 802.3at Type 2 Class 4 and IEEE 802.3bt Type 3 Class 6. I'm a bit confused on how this matches up to the Netonix and if it is capable of supplying the correct power or if i need to buy a DC PoE midspan. Any help identifying if this will work and what mode to run it in would be appreciated.
If i'm reading this and this correctly Netonix supports the 802.3af/at Mode B on the 48v setting and 802.3bt on the 48vh setting. Am i correct?

I'm wondering about this one too.
I've recently tried powering up both Bosch and Panasonic PTZ CCTV cameras (802.3bt Class 4 or 6 required) with a WS-6-Mini and both inform me that I've plugged them into a Class 0 power supply and they can't go to full power. PoE Smart doesn't make a difference either way.
I don't have the same problem with the HikVision PTZ cameras, but that's not super surprising!
I have LLDP and Discovery both turned on on the Netonix, and was hoping that it would LLDP negotiate to Class 4 per that biamp link Phil posted above.
Any possibility of a fix in firmware? I'd be happy to test beta for you :)
We're using midspan injectors for now, but that makes the installation footprint so much bigger - I would prefer to just have Minis running my world!

I'm having the same issue. Just the LLDP reply we are missing. As far as I can figure. So far Bosch, Hanwha and Panasonic PTZs are complaining. The Hikvision doesn't. Must have been told not to complain!

Im powering an AXIS PTZ from a WS-12-250-AC using 48VH just fine.
