I am not able to get this to work...

"You could use scp too.
scp wispswitch-1.5.12.bin admin@<switch ip>:/tmp

Then at the CLI use "cmdline" to get to the linux command prompt and run "firmware_ugprade /tmp/wispswitch-1.5.12.bin""

I got the scp done but the firmware_upgrade/tmp/wispswitch-1.5.12.bin part I just get file not found..... Any idea what Im doing wrong?

Update: There was a typo in the original post in this thread mentioning the firmware_upgrade command , so if you copy & pasted the command you need to fix the typo. (I copied the typo'd command myself when I tested it which is why my original comment below both contains the typo & is incorrect!)

My original post:

I haven't tested this so proceed at your own risk...

It appears the firmware_ugprade command may have been replaced by sysupgrade, so try the following command instead:

sysupgrade /tmp/wispswitch-1.5.12.bin

Fyi on newer scp/openssh version you need to use the -O option or you will get "ash: /usr/libexec/sftp-server: not found".
