Hi:
We are trying to implement LAGs on a link that has two different wireless connection speeds. The ethernet speeds are both at 1000 Mbps but the wireless capability of the wireless links is different, i.e. 500 Mbps and 900 Mbps. We're using UBNT AF11 (500 Mbps) for one of the links and Mimosa B24 (900 Mbps) for the other.
Realizing that the Ethernet hardwired link is required to be the same, does the wireless link need to also be the same? Wireless links' capabilities will vary during the normal course of their operation. Will this cause the two LAG's links to be too dissimilar or does the wireless link's traffic control perform the needed traffic regulation?

The LAG will not be aware of the difference of speed between the 2 wireless device and expect a 1Gb/s link from each one and split in half the streams between the two link.
If you want to influence traffic to use more the 900 Mbps link,, you should use OSPF with 2 VLAN over the 900 Mb/s link. OSPF will see 2 link over the 900 Mb/s wireless vs 1 link over the 500 Mb/s wireless and send 2 streams over 900 Mb/s link for 1 streams over 500Mb/s links.

Thank you for the OSPF idea.
We're not sure how to implement OSPF with a Netonix switch on one end of the link and a UBNT Edgeswitch on the other.
Do you have some hints or documentation we may review?

OSPF is a L3 (routing) feature. Netonix don't support it for now but should eventually on the new WS3 line. From what I know, the edgeswitch line is limited to static routing so also no OSPF on those device.
To use those feature, you would need routers that support OSPF on each side.

You could add router instead and keep the switch for PoE and layer 2 features. Popular choices among WISP are Mikrotik and Ubiquiti Edgerouter. I could start a flame war but those aren't carrier class devices like Cisco or Juniper but can do the job if your aware of their limitations.
