Re: Counter Roll-Over?
OK... but now things get more strange. I can pull a 64 bit counter off of my EdgeRouter and that fixed the issues there, but if I try to poll SNMPv2 64 bit off the Netonix switches I'm getting nothing... no values at all.

Re: Counter Roll-Over?
Delving into this more, it appears the Netonix switches do not have 64 bit counters?!?!?
snmpwalk -c xxxxxxxxxxxxx -v 2c 10.200.81.5 | grep -i ifHC
<no results>
I then manually looked at the tree.... no 64 bit counters.
Chris? Dave? Rory?

Re: Counter Roll-Over?
Correct, our SNMP daemon currently only supports 32 bit counters.
I've put 64 bit counters on the to-do list.

Re: Counter Roll-Over?
Thanks, Eric. Hopefully soon? These are Gigabit interfaces.. without 64 bit counters it's hard to verify traffic going through them.

Glad you tickled a neuron in my brain that remembered something about ifHC. I had not tested it yet.

Since we have a bandwidth manager that tracks and graphs usage per customer, and the switches have 1 hour graphs we do not monitor the switch Ethernet stats which is why we did not catch this issue.
The import thing is you found it and we are fixing it within 24 hours of the bug confirmation!
