Hello, Are you guys going to process RMA's anytime soon?
I received 2 RMA's and sent the switches back for repair and I never get a response or update on the RMA. This was back on 10/19/19

Re: RMA
I Had ANOTHER switch turn all ports to +50v, fried all radios.... still have 3 waiting RMA.
Honestly, at this point I might just load these into my truck and DRIVE THEM to Netonix.
Maybe if I see these guys I can talk some sense into them.

Re: RMA
RMA department is back up & running as of today..finally..plan is to have all in-house RMA's processed by end of this week. And a new automated RMA portal to follow.
If your switches are getting damaged..something is not cool about your setup, either ground current or something else not okay..i am not trying to shunt issue on you, just saying we have 100's of thousands of switches in the market over the last few years, and the switches just don't blow up for no reason.

Re: RMA
We have begun going back and checking all grounding.
However, we have already chose a new supplier. Honestly, Netonix switches are very poorly built.
Every site we have installed a Netonix had been running for 5+ years without issue. We simply installed the switch, grounded it, and plugged the cables in.
Now 20% of the sites have a failed Switch, apparently with grounding damage. While I can appreciate that this "may" be the case, we simply cannot put any more of these in. The drive time, the cost to change our grounding, replace new switches, wait a year for RMA. It's just too much headache.
We need to be installing a product built to a bit higher standards. If we are losing a switch every time the wind blows I cannot sleep well using them.

Re: RMA
The first 2 were 12-250-DC and the last 2 were 26-500-DC.
All were purchased about 6 months ago.

Re: RMA
Spoke too soon, had a 3rd 26-500-DC bad today as well.
Port 1 on 48VH with a AF24. Pins 3,4 show 5 watts, Pins 1,2 show 30watts.
Replaced cable, ends, surge. FInally climbed and replaced AF24. Same issue. Works fine with 50v POE Adapter.
Just adding to my Netonix pile.

Re: RMA
well, if you had Netonix switches in your network running fine for 5 years fine, and now all of a sudden you have had 3 fail..something has changed....the switches themselves, or your network...I can only imagine all of the changes we have been making to the switches has made them a lot better of the last couple of years, but that never means they
still can't be improved....
you mentioned surge protection...is that on the network cable data lines?...as in we do not recommend them to be used on passive POE.
anyways...I will definitely have your RMA's looked at closely.
