Hey guys,
I have got a ws-12-250-DC that does not respond to anything ..
The power LED comes on when i power it, i can also see the LEDS on inside come on , the fan comes on
I have tried the recovery tool following this guide https://forum.netonix.com/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=5902&sid=f7b6914a847b420930ac53b688eed9d1 but its stuck on tranfsering recovery file.tar.gz...
Has anyone had a similar issue..
Any ideas and pointers are appreciated..

The best place to start would be using PuTTY (or equivalent) to watch the serial output on a fresh boot.
Post the results here. It might help us understand what the trouble is.

Thanks for the response.
The switch does not spit out anything on serial when booting..
Take a look the putty image.
When i open the connection there is nothing on the terminal, even rebooting changes nothing..

Sorry just saw this one.
If there is no output at all on PuTTY, then there is likely a hardware failure, like the flash chip or vitesse core was damaged.
It will have to be RMA'd for repair.
