I am not sure it is as easy as you think because the voltage is sharing the medium with the Ethernet communications so extracting the power but leaving the communications is the trick.
Now if this is 10/100 and only using pins 4,5,7,8 then yea, an adapter might be easy but they could also just crimp it reversing the white blue/blue and white brown/brown wires and achieve the same effect?

Oh I understand. In another thread I proposed something that resembles the Ubiquiti Instant AF adapter.

Of course cutting and crossing is an option that requires no hardware. The surge protector suggestion was to keep the cables standard.

NRF - Box Design and printed and cut plates $1,000
NRF TOTAL COSTS - $30,000.00 - YOU NEED TO RECOVER THIS COST OVER TIME BUT EVEN AT 10,000 units that $3 per unit???!
CGS - Purchase enough parts for at least 1,000 units if a surge protector $6,000.00
CGS - 1,000 Boxes $500.00
CGS - Assembly PCB into chassis and box 1,000 units $5,000.00
Cost per unit to build $11.50 each WHEN YOU FACTOR IN NRF = $14.50 per unit cost
If done on 10,000 unit scale reduce to $7.00 per unit WHEN YOU FACTOR IN NRF = $10.00 per unit cost
Now assume Distributor want 30% Discount so do a little algebra here and get that value, then factor in you really want 30% to 40% Gross profit margins after Distributor Discount.
Now to be able to sale this you need to sale it for what, $10.00 +/-????

I am pretty sure it will work with 24V??
As long as it is only 100M you could reverse pins 4,5 with 7,8 and it should work?

Crossing over the power pairs is child's play if it is 10/100 and not gig. One can simply crimp it that way or keep the crimps standard and make a dongle with a plug on one end and a keystone jack on the other. They can also be purchased ready made like the Tycon POE-XOVER-S.

If you make your own, you might be tempted to cut a stock jumper in two so that you only need to crimp on the keystone but beware that almost all keystone jacks use IDC meant for solid wire, not IPC for stranded so you introduce some reliability risk using stranded wire.

The 24 volt works fine for the older Cambium stuff motorola 900s , 5.8s. 2.4s, but the new OFDM 5.8s the 430 and 450 stuff had to have 29.5 volts. output .46A

So they need 30V and probably 48V is to high I guess?

Ok reversing the blues and browns worked just fine. Since these are installed with Lightning arrestors at the tower anyways. Can make the patch cable coming over from the LA to the switch have 1 end with browns and blues reversed.
So any way testing at the desk now with a moto 5.8 and Ubiquiti radio powered off of the switch.
