Mine arrived last week. It's just sitting on my desk at the office running a polycom ip phone and a nanobridge feed horn.
Don't have a plan to use it in the network just yet. Most of the sites I would use a netonix switch on, need more than 8 ports. But I have a site the I might be able to use it on. it'll have 3 back hauls and 2 ap's on it and will probably be the best way to power everything.

I also received my "other" 24 port switch. thanks Chris. :)

Got mine today, planning where to install it.

If we wall mount it, do you recommend one side be up? The fan or the vented side, or does it matter?

If you have a choice I would put the FAN side up as heat rises and the fan is an exhaust fan so it you mount it the other way the fan has to labor.

I replaced a problematic TS-8 Pro with one of the 8-port Netonix switches.

This was after an older TS-8 had already been replaced with a new TS-8 with no change in performance. I had also tried an HP Procurve in place of the TS to see if performance would improve but still had limited throughput. There is a mix of GbE and FastE.

After swapping in the Netonix, throughput has quadrupled.
Yes, I've ordered more.

What's the latest ETA on the 12 port AC?

I am REALLY glad you like it!

I will have ALL of the announced  switches on display at WISP America.

Production of the new small 12 port WS-12-250-AC and DC is end of March beginning of April.

We do have PLENTY of 24 ports and 12 port rack mounts and a FEW pre-release WS-8-250-AC available NOW :ak: and starting 2nd week of March a lot of production WS-8-250-AC.

People who got EARLY releases of our switches really need to enable Flow Control in the UI because we did not used to have it on by default and it is really needed with a mix of 1G uplink and 100M AP's.

I have made tons of Post explaining why you want to turn on Flow Control: viewtopic.php?f=25&t=420&p=2543&hilit=packet+buffers#p2607

Not that I like Flow Control but in these situations you do need it and our switch core does an Excellent job of implementing Flow Control with back pressure.

OK, should have mine in shortly, and ordering more, but I will have to setup 2 of them as DC inputs!
Can somebody that has converted them, give me a quick rundown on what needs to go where ?

Also, what is the voltage and amperage needed per switch (8 and 12 port) ? With all POE's used ?

Thanks,
Wayne
