Watch the Forums and web store closely the next 24 to 48 hours Pirate2

I got delayed getting the firmware problem that started Friday night until now (I hope) under control. :ak:

Well a sad thing happened today.

The decals finally showed up and we discovered they made several mistakes:
The front decals are white and should have been black.
The material was supposed to be lamented and they are not.
The port numbers are not centered on the ports and they are off center a little bit.

Now since this was only a small test batch no big deal but to get replacements would take 2 weeks so we have decided to ship these first 100 switches with the decals as I am sure you guys really do not care that much about that?

Also the 100 pre-production chassis are in but they have some minor changes that need made but no big deal because the changes mostly affect how difficult they go together and you should not be taking them apart! :nono:

Also the chassis do not fit exactly perfect on a rear seam but once again not bad and I am sure you do not care that much about that either?

So we will begin assembling them tomorrow and the next batch of 200 in about 3 weeks should be perfect and then 3 weeks after that we receive 1,000 units and those should most definitely be perfect.

I need to get these 100 out there so you guys can decide how much you do or do not like them so we can place the order for the next batch so we need to judge volumes based on your feedback.

Can you guys live with the decal and chassis imperfections for this first batch? I hope to put the switch on the web store for sale in the next 24 hours on a first come first serve but we are going to limit the number per customer as we need to get as much feed back from as many different people as possible.

I'd take white stickers!

White sticker makes it look like a 1980's retro A/B serial switch.
