Netonix to power 24v DC not network device

Can I use two pairs of the netonix port to power a device that does not have a network?

PINs 1, 2, 4, 5 (+)

PINs 3, 6, 7, 8 (-)

In other words, Can I use the port power as power supply only with no data?

You'd need something like this to step down to 12V since the lowest voltage the switch outputs is 24V

Yes you can but do not pull more power than the POE option you use is rated for.

Im trying to power a Mikrotik CRS317-1G-16S+RM direct to the board that has 110v AC to DC 24v 2.5 Amp power supplies

Can I tie together the pins 1, 2, 4, 5 (+) and 3, 6, 7, 8 (-) to get 24v ?

You cannot pull 2.5A via 24VH. The max is 1.5A.

The Mikrotik PSU is 2.5 A MAX, probably will need 1A max to power the device
Can I connect the wires together?
