Hello everyone
I have a question about the SFP port ws-8-150-dc
I connect my computers on this port with a module SFP BASE 1000 MB type RJ45 when I have more room on my POE
It works well with a 4-pair cable ...
The problem is that when I cut the pairs 4,5 and 7,8 to have the communication it does not work anymore ....
Normally the communication must be done on 123 and 6 so how are the SFP ports cabled ??? I feel they are reversed but how ???
Thank you
Port SFP 1000 BASE TXRX

Re: Port SFP 1000 BASE TXRX
All 4 pair are used for 1G Communications
This is INDUSTRY STANDARD
10/100 uses 2 pair or 4 wires but 1G requires 4 pair or 8 wires.
