Hi,
Is WS-8-250-AC a discontinued version?
I can see it on the picture on the front page, but not in the models section.
I was wondering if there are any specs on how to wallmount the units (not just the WS-8-250-AC)?
Kind Regards
M

Re: What happend to WS-8-250-AC?
They were discontinued to reduce the number of SKUs. There are two through-holes in the corners for wall mounting the smaller units and the rack ears turn for the larger ones.

See this post for example of using through holes: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1407&p=10362&hilit=through+holes#p10400
Just do not over tighten them that it compresses the chassis as I have seen some come back in RMA that must have been so tight as it bent chassis.
As far as WS-8-250-AC Les is correct, they were EOL for 2 reasons:
1) Reduce the SKUs
2) Allow us to redesign the WS-8-250-AC into the the WS-8-150-AC which will be announced later this month or early March shipping by late March hopefully.
We had released the WS-10-250-AC temporarily to fill the gap as it was just the WS-12-250-AC without all the parts stuffed but we may cancel it when the WS-8-150-AC is released.
WS-8-150-AC Specs:
150 watts power supply instead of 250 watts for the smaller installations or indoor applications.
Only port 1 can do 24V, 48V, and 48VH 1.5A so only powers 1 AF24/5 radio
Ports 2-8 can do 24V and 48V .75A
No SFP ports
Console port
We removed the port current sensors but we provide total watts used
We removed the fan so it is "passive" cooling only
Much smaller chassis
Uses the same switch core as all other WISP Switches, the VSC-742X
MSRP: $179 to $185 (we are sharpening our pencils)

I do not know the "exact" measurement but they are about 3/16" diameter.
An 8/32 or a long drywall screw fits nicely in them.

Re: What happend to WS-8-250-AC?
Just got my first WS-8-150-AC
I spent ages hunting round to find the Watts column, then eventually found this thread. I'm really disappointed that you've dropped the per port power monitoring. I've found it really useful and just assumed it would be there in other models. I wouldn't have bought it if I'd known it's no longer there. I'm guessing it was done to keep costs down, but it's one I'm unlikely to buy any more of.

It didn't help that my UK supplier has it listed wrongly...
