Re: WS-26-400-DC
Sure like the auto scaling voltage graph! Nice, very nice! What is the total 'internal' power consumption of this unit?
I'm ready to buy!

Re: WS-26-400-DC
Well you can see in the picture above with fans on low about 12 watts.
Would increase with more active ports.

Re: WS-26-400-DC
Just came across this in the 1.4.7rcX changelog.
Yes, I have over 3 sites that I need to use the 12-DC Plus WS-6-Mini, this is definitely a necessity in our network.

Re: WS-26-400-DC
Would pre-orders help any? Which does pose the question about price. Do you have a tentative price set yet?

Re: WS-26-400-DC
I will start putting the switches up on the site today and throughout the week.
We will have a LIMITED # of units available in a week or so with inventory levels in 2-4 weeks after that.
We are finalizing pricing maybe today.
We will allow pre-orders once we know for sure when we can deliver the first SMALL batch.
We always run a small first batch to verify process.
After this model is finalized and production is set up we will get back on working on the SCADA device and the Generation 2 models slated for limited release by end of 2017.
The first Generation 2 models will only be 26 port and then later a 52 port model
WS2-26-400-AC
(2) SFP+ ports
Supports active and passive POE
Layer 3 / 4
WS2-26-500-DC
(2) SFP+ ports
Supports active and passive POE
Layer 3 / 4
WS2-26-400-IDC
(2) SFP+ ports
Supports active and passive POE
Layer 3 / 4
WS2-26-DC
(2) SFP+ ports
Supports active and passive POE
Layer 3 / 4
WS2-52-XXX-AC
(4) SFP+ ports
Supports active and passive POE
Layer 3 / 4
We are currently planning on only offering active POE on 26 port and larger the idea being WISPs can use at NOC.
Smaller Generation 2 may only offer passive POE, depends on how our cutting edge innovative POE controller works and costs.
