I would at least try v1.4.5rc2 - RELEASE NOTES BELOW
Anytime changes to SFP support are made you should always try it even if it does not mention your specific module.
Beyond as I said that take note under the ports Tab you can change port to 1G or Auto which you have to match to the far side device. Some SFP modules work eith one or the other setting but they have to match both sides of link.
Beyond that ask Eric to help (The programmer) or use a module others report as working from the many listed above in this thread.
