Last night we tested the maxxwave 1m direct attach cabe
http://www.balticnetworks.com/maxxwave- ... le-1m.html
I got one of these for the lab, and it seems to work perfectly between 2 Netonix switches, a Netonix and a Mikrotik RB2011UiAS-RM, and a Netonix and a Netgear GS110TP.
So I don't know what is causing your packet loss but it must have something to do with the CCR. Unfortunately I don't have one to test with.

Re: Compatible SFP Modules
Why are those SFP's working in other switches not working in Netonix switches ?
Is there something we can do to make them work ? Do we need to send you some samples ?
Could be nice if you could pick some of those (http://www.fs.com/c/generic-1000base-sfp-1412) from Fiberstore and make compatible....

Thanks for testing that, I guess the problem is on the CCR side?
I'll test between the CCR and a different brand SFP switch and see if the problem stays (with the CCR) or if it's due to the Mikrotik CCR - netonix combination.
Re: Compatible SFP Modules
Proline Generic HP SFP (J4859C-CDW) is working great for us betweeen a hp ZL switch core and Netonix.

Re: Compatible SFP Modules
Mikrotik S-RJ01 copper SFP's don't seem to work with all types of Netonix - which may explain why they work for some but not others.
We have successfully used them on a WS-12-250AC running 1.4.2 Board Revision E.
However, when trying to use them on a WS-12-250DC, they would not work. Running 1.4.2 also, Board Revision F.
Has anyone tried other copper SFP adapters and can confirm they work?
Thanks
Colin

Please upgrade to v1.4.5rc2 and confirm they still do not work.

DId you try changing the Speed/Duplex?
Several firmware versions ago we allowed you to specify Auto or 1G but in old firmware it was hard coded to 1G
We found that some modules would not work if set to Auto and others would not work if set to 1G.
Now sometimes you need to make sure the setting is the same on both sides such as the router the cable goes to.
So if switch is set to 1G then router needs to be set to 1G
Or if switch is set to Auto then router needs to be set to Auto
Please try this and let me know.

Re: Compatible SFP Modules
Yes, have tried both auto and set to 1G on both switch and connected device.
Same result either way.
Log shows link at 1G and connected device shows connection but no traffic flows.
