WISP and Ubiqiuiti AirFiber Failover

Fri Aug 05, 2016 1:03 pm

Our office gets connects to the Internet across a Ubiquiti AirFiber radio that points back to an AirFiber radio on a tower at our ISP. We've also got a couple of other older radios that point back to their counterpart radios at the ISP in case the AirFiber fails (as secondary and tertiary backups). Right now we use STP to do failover.

We'd like to replace our dumb switch at the ISP with a Netonix WS-12-250-AC WISP switch, and possibly connect our on-site radios to a second switch just like it.

Any idea if our STP failover setup will still work if we use these WISP switches? Or does anyone have a better method to suggest?

Any advice is appreciated! Thanks!

We support STP/RSTP yes.

It will work.

You can specify the link to be favored such as the AF24.
Support is handled on the Forums not in Emails and PMs.
