I had a switch die in storm running an older version of firmware I believe 1.3.8 maybe. Either way when I got the new switch in to replace it, it was running the newer 1.4.2 and it keeps rebooting back to default as it says it cannot communicate so it defaults. Is there a way to turn this feature off. We are running vlans so I cannot communicate directly plugged in, but I can plug it into my router and ssh and ping the device until it defaults after the default 60. I do not know why it is defaulting even when I can ping and ssh into it before it defaults. Please help as I do not want to keep the toughswitch in.
Thanks
Danny

Go under the the Device/Configuration Tab and disable the Revert Timer by setting it to 0
After saving a config change if you do not log back in within the allotted time it reverts.
