Netonix WS-24-400A in rack?

Sun May 22, 2016 2:54 pm

Hi just a general question on your thoughts.

Do you normally place the WS-24-400A in a server rack or normally just mount it on a wall.
It seems quite large and was wondering if it needs to get some more air flow.
Thank you.

The rack ears that come with the WS-24-400A allow you to turn them 90 degrees for wall mounting or straight for rack mounting.

Your choice, it's fine.

That was the quickest reply I have had on a forum in my life.

I know its my choice but what would you recommend?
Thank you.

That means either is fine, but if you have a rack that looks neater and is the preferred orientation but either is fine.

At my WISP most are vertical hanging racks which is same as wall mount.
