WS-8-150-AC specs

Thu May 05, 2016 9:59 am

Hey guys,
I am replacing TS8PRO switch with WS-8-150-AC and could not find any specs (just WS-8-250-AC) A couple of questions:
1. What is the max power per port?
2. Does WS-8-150-AC have a fan?
3. Does WS-8-150-AC have ping watchdog for port? (It configures the device to continuously ping a user-defined IP address. If it is unable to ping under the user-defined constraints, then the device will automatically turn off PoE on the port, and then turn it back on.)

Thanks,
Lac

1. What is the max power per port?
Go look at the listing on our web site and read the description below the picture

2. Does WS-8-150-AC have a fan?
YES, we like fans, it prolongs the life of electronic equipment

3. Does WS-8-150-AC have ping watchdog for port? (It configures the device to continuously ping a user-defined IP address. If it is unable to ping under the user-defined constraints, then the device will automatically turn off PoE on the port, and then turn it back on.)

All our switches support this ability

Found this in another thread:

WS-8-150-AC Specs:

150 watts power supply instead of 250 watts for the smaller installations or indoor applications.
Only port 1 can do 24V, 48V, and 48VH 1.5A so only powers 1 AF24/5 radio
Ports 2-8 can do 24V and 48V .75A
No SFP ports
Console port
We removed the port current sensors but we provide total watts used
We removed the fan so it is "passive" cooling only
Much smaller chassis
Uses the same switch core as all other WISP Switches, the VSC-742X

OK, thanks. Hope my TS8PRO will limp until I get this one.

Does one of the existing din mounts work for the new 8 ports?

No, we are going to make new DIN kits for them.

They are a much smaller chassis than existing models.
