Is negotiated link speed limiting on the roadmap?

Sat Apr 30, 2016 8:58 am

Pardon me if this has been asked but my search foo is off this morning. Some switches have the option of leaving port link speed negotiation on but limiting the speed that they can negotiate. This can be of value if you have kit that doesn't play well at the highest speed it negotiates and the kit doesn't have the option to hard code the speed or you want to keep auto-negotiation for flow control.

This is not to be confused with bandwidth limiting although it will obviously also limit the bandwidth.
