Awesome. We haven't purchased any WS mini because they don't have enough low power ports. Smaller pops have powerbeams or af5x, not AF so one port is essentially wasted.

NOOOOOOOOOOO :ak: . Port 2 is made for airFIBER 24/5 and AFX radios as it support 24VH and 48VH
Note: Newer AFX radios will use 24V, 48V, 24VH, and 48VH
Read this post: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1215#p9040

So then you can power 4 airMAX radios in ports 3-6

Yes but port 2 in the WS-6-MINI supports 24VH which is fine for an AFX radio even the original ones.

Port 2 was designed for airFIBER radios and MIMOSA radios just NOT airMAX radios or any other standard 24V or 48V devices.

We are working on something:
Port 1 - 24V @.75A , 48V @.75A , and 48VH @1.5A - POWERS 1 AF24 / 5 or WS-6-MINI
Port 2-8 - 24V @.75A , 48V @.75A
A "beefy" 150 watt power supply
A cooling fan to extend the life
Console port
"Smaller" than a ToughSWITCH at only 6.5" wide and 8" deep
MADE IN NORTH AMERICA

The same as all our other switches as far as switch core and firmware features except we removed the current sensors on each port and only report total watts used.

MSRP............... Pirate4

So what price would be good?

Just scale the price down for the comparable WS-12 unit I think. I'd really want to see a DC unit with variable input (WS-8-150-DC?)

I think the netonix prices are good. It's the premium wisp powered switch, it shouldn't fall into the cheap category...

8 ports is *good* for us.

I can't give an estimate on what "i want" the MSRP to be but i think that it needs to fulfill two factors.
1) To be an attractive "first" option for new Netonix customers so they will get introduced with Netonix functionality and robustness.
2) To be a "worth the effort" needed by Netonix(R&D , QC, Packaging-Assebly-Test Effort).

At the end of the day me personaly (for the time been) i will probably take 1-2 of those BUT!!! knowing the economics behind a bussines i know that if this entry level switch take a big support from the community and the price is near cost then this maybe will damage the other parts of the Company by consuming valuable resources. If this is reasonably priced with some fair margin for the Company then i am sure that the revenue from this Part Number and the future prospected sales by Brand Awareness will in the end lead to better prices in overall.

Thats my 2c and i hope i was helpfull
P.S. Excuse my poor english .. not my native lang :)

Well thanks Mikea, but I still need help on suggestions for MSRP pricing and be honest.

What would you guys like to see the MSRP at?
WS-8-150-AC $
WS-8-150-DC $

Then i think a a great price would be:
WS-8-150-AC $150-190
WS-8-150-DC $190-230

But without the knowledge of the Cost of each unit my opinion is nothing more than a shot in the dark.

P.S. what ever the price i need a WS-8-150-DC yesterday :D
