I'm also very interested in an update. We really need this.
At least I've not found a DC powered 8port 10gig switch, that will compliment, once these switches are available. But not having at least 1 or 2 10gig uplink ports on the Netonix switches is a pain.

We are in serious need of these as well. Have a DC powered site upgrading to multiple Siklu 8010 links. (POE power via separate 1G 48VH port, but need 10G for customer payload traffic). Same boat as Marlow above. Current products on the market that have at least two 10G ports and powerable via DC tend to be gross overkill, not suited to being located in remote installations, and have 5 digit price tags.

I need to upgrade a few fiber hubs, so that I can run > 1 Gbps to each switch feeding PtP links.

Please, please, please find my lack of faith disturbing - I've been looking at Mikrotik 
Seriously though, I thought the big hardware / software issue was solved and the first trial run was out in the real-world being tested.
