Convert AC unit to DC?

Just wondering if there will be any possibility to convert ac units to dc units (when the dc parts hit production).

Do the dc power supplies have the same "form factor"?
Will you sell replacement/individual power supplies?

We have purchased several AC powered switches (and we love them), but we would really prefer DC !!

Just checking in again, still wondering if there is any chance of purchasing the DC power supplies now or in the near future.

We will be selling replacement "parts" such as AC and DC power supplies and fans later this year.

But it is not just a simple thing to convert an AC unit to DC as it is not just changing the power supply because there is an I2C communications cable, the chassis is different, and the board software is different. Yes the AC and DC units all use the same firmware file but there are other variable set in other partitions of the flash that tell the switchboard what model it is. If you just hooked up a DC power supply in place of the AC power supply that would not work as you would also need the I2C com cable as well as you would need to change some information in the Flash that identifies the board function which we are not really keen on handing out to people. For instance if you know what you're doing you can tell a US Rocket M5 it is the international version (which I know how to do) but that is not public knowledge and UBNT would also not want to just give out that information plus it would put them in violation with the FCC as it would for us too.

The DC power supplies are in production now.
The DC chassis are finished and are already here as well as the decals and retail box.
