FAN Noise

Greeting.

I am using a WS-12-250-DC in a offgrid installation. This is installed in a living / sleeping area and the fan noise is quite loud.

I have replaced the original fan (bearing noisy) with netonix replacement but the replacement fan using the NEW profile seams to be louder. and starts and stops.

What are my options.

1. Control speed in software (doesnt look possible)
2. Replace fan with bigger slower running unit and disable internal fan? Hack the case to support this.


The unit is outside of warranty.

Any had this issue? How did you resolve?
