More power

We have a site that has to be powered via POE. It has 2 wisp mini switches and 6 radios. We need about 85 watts of power. I found a 90 watt POE injector but it requires an active poe protocol. Does anyone know where we can lay our hands on a 90 watt passive poe injector?

Thanks

If you need 85W, 90W poser supply could be too short.

if you have 2 wisp mini switch does it mean 42.5W by switch ? If so, why not use 2 passive PoE ?

The switches are about 250 feet from the building and we only ran a single cable in the liquid-tight. Since the initial installation we have been adding radios and now have 6 on that tower.

We may be forced to try to get a second ethernet cable into the liquid-tight...

Would one of these https://www.tyconsystems.com/poe-injsplt-g work? It puts power on all 4 pairs.

That Tycon does not include any power supply. I was looking at https://tsi.tyconsystems.com/doc/SpecSh ... _Sheet.pdf but it has different polarity but ISTR reading that the WS6 has a diode bridge on its input. I posed the question to Dave so maybe he can clarify.

yes, the ws6 mini does have a bridge rectifier on its POE input power channel, so in theory you could use any POE combination pair source....
