Ping or traceroute with no fragment?

Would it be possible to use a version of ping or traceroute that allows the setting of the "don't fragment" bit either in WebUI or CLI or preferably both?

There are many times in stepping through a network, especially when trying to support MTU >=1500 on PPPoE that something picks an unexpected MTU where this would be useful for debugging.
