Power Diagram for two Netonix swiches (Power Fail)

I have two switches, a WS-6-Mini and a WS-12-250-DC and I would like to know if this wiring scheme would work for a power fail scenario. I plan on using a power fail control relay to do the switching between the 24v PSU and the battery power for the WS-6-Mini. The WS-12-250-DC will be connected to the battery directly. I'm tempted to put a low voltage disconnect for the battery to prevent it from being drained.

Is there any suggestion or concerns?

Side question: If I have a WS-6-mini and a WS-12-DC that consume a combines total of 36w. Would it be okay to power both the units on a single 48V-120w power supply?

Looks to me like the WS-12-250-DC already has a LVD (hibernate) built-in, under the power tab. So you could set a voltage level for shutdown / bootup through the switch config for that unit. You could also use the WS-12 to power the WS-6.

I've recently posted if the DC feature for shutdown/startup could be implemented in the Ws-6-mini, since the voltage level is available, and all POE ports could be turned off/on based on that value. That would reduce the dependence on external components to achieve your objective.

To that end, I also posted if Netonix would consider open sourcing the firmware, so that those who are able to contribute to troubleshooting or feature enhancements could do so. This is a great product, and I wish to see it move forward, even if that requires a community effort.
