Need Feed back for production

Tue Mar 31, 2015 10:56 am

It takes from 6 to 8 weeks, sometimes as high as 12 weeks from the time we place a PO to when we receive boards because many items have LONG lead times.

With that being said it seems people mostly post when they have issues not when things work which as WISPs we are all familiar with this mentality from our customers but this makes us cautious on ordering more production runs if all we get is mostly poster with issues.

What we do not want to have happen is suddenly we find ourselves out of stock and 2 months until we get more so I would like to stress how important it is to actually take a few moments and let us know when things are good and if you plan to buy more not just post when there is an issue.

Often people will start a thread with an issue then after it is resolved they do not come back and let others and us know that all is fine and they are happy and plan to buy more.

So if you have an issue then by all means post and lets try to fix it but also if you like the products or your issues get resolved please find the time to post or close issue threads.

As you all know we started shipping the WS-8-250-AC production units on time (Yesterday).
We are still on track for the week of April 27th for the WS-6-MINI and WS-12-250-AC.
We are also hopping to have the DC switches shipping by end of April.

We pulled the v1.2.0 firmware but also hope to have that firmware re-released soon with the new features.

It is just over 1 year since we started Netonix and we have released 5 Models of switches, and soon to release 4 more with the DC switches and WS-6-MINI and the WS-12-250-AC. This has come at a high price of personal sacrifice (meaning we have no life) but in the end we feel it will have been all worth while and that Netonix will continue to innovate and provide another source of cool stuff along side other manufacturers in the the Fixed wireless industry.

Hello.

We have been looking for a way to standardize our sites and clean up all the different power converters. You guys are great and I will be updating all our sites with Netonix switches even our Solar sites when you get the DC versions out.

Nothing else can do the 24v,48v, and 48hv, and be able to remotely control the power AND be gigabit. Without all of that we have had to slap things together and it was a very non standard mess.

We have bought 6 switches and will be getting 30+ over the next 6 months. We are changing every site to this because it is a great piece of hardware that we can make standard and it will run all of our stuff. Mikrotik, Ubnt, Mimosa, SAF, just awesome and what we need.

Keep making the equipment we need and we will keep buying it. :hurray:

I'm with @Uintadave.
We plan to continue to buy more switches. I think the holy grail is the DC switch. It just makes more sense unless you HAVE to have something that is AC already.

Keep up the good work guys!

We are currently sitting on v1.1.1 and will probably let that soak for a little while and will move up as we can. Has been working great at our main site! Love the thing and is easy to use. We are going to be putting another 24 port at our new tower site this June also.

We are not going to be replacing all the Tough Switches at the smaller sites, witch is the majority of them, but we are not going to order Tough Switches for any more feature builds. We are still debating between the 6 port vs the 8 port Netonix for them in the future.

The one that I am currently waiting for is the 12 port DC switches as that will be used in some of our DC powered locations.

As usual keep up the good work and we will stay happy!
