Netonix Manager Discovery

I just finished installing 1.0.15 and when I scanned thorough my network using IP SCAN say 172.18.0.0/16 I found most of my netonix. Everything looks fine
But when looked closely I faced this strange issue where all my netonix are added with duplicate entries for all VLAN monitor IP's as shown in the screenshot.
I think the monitor IP are non-routed so how they are found.
Another issue is that same device have different values.
I also wanted to know is there any procedure to bulk change password of all netonix using the netonix manager.
Thanks,

This does look like a bug of some sort. Little trickier than the other one you reported though. How many devices are on your network?
Right now, there is no procedure for bulk password updates.

We have ~100 Netonixes on our network - so bulk actions, like password change, would be really nice.
Also, to make any use of notifications from Netonix-manager, the probing of switches should be configureable...
How many failures before it's marked red (and send out a notice), how frequent is each probing attempt, etc...
This is especially crucial when it's installed in the cloud (as is the case for us), and probes are over a VPN to the networks.
The Netonix-manager, could be an amazing critical and highly-useful tool, just as are the switches themselves in our network --- they ARE the core of our network and we love em... But instead, the manager, as is, is barely beneficial at all...
Happy to engage in a discussion if there's interest...

More development is planned in the near future. I am collecting feature request's and have a few I'd like to start on soon.
We are hoping to develop it into a crucial tool as you say.
How many failures before it's marked red (and send out a notice),
Fortunately, some of what you've requested does exist in the app already.
You can setup email alert's for events of switches failing and other events. Simply click on the gear in the top right corner of the webpage and configure the SMTP options.
You can also configure the failure count before a switch is considered offline (this is a relatively new feature as of 1.0.14 I believe)
You can find the option at the bottom of the same menu mentioned before (click on the gear in the top right corner)
The option is called:
"Count Before Offline"

Viv, have you upgraded since the last post? Eventually, my plans are to allow bulk actions on groups. Groups where introduced in 1.0.16 and you can read about this
here.
Any further suggestions and feature request's are still welcome.

Yes, I noticed the same monitor VLAN IP getting discovered in recent 1.0.17 version as well.

I didn't quite get what you mean? Did you mean that the same device is detected twice?

Yes, I mean the same device which have multiple VLAN monitor/watchdogs IP 's(Note: This IP address is only used for Watchdogs and is non-routable) are getting discovered. You can see the screenshot to see how the VLAN monitor IP are added
and this screen shot for the problem.
- Same device with multipe IP
