Do you have any plans to come out with non poe switches? I'd be interested in 24 and 48 port non-poe switches for datacenter, MDU, and other uses.

How much would it reduce the cost by removing POE? Right now my best option is the Mikrotik CRS series or used Cisco 3550s and 3750s.

just curious, is there something special that our switch has compared to some of the other non-poe versions from the big guys?

Yes. Your switches have a great GUI and easy to use features. Your switches are also economical.

The mikrotik switches work well but they are a pain to configure and lack some of the features that you have.

They also have great buffering ! We also bought your 8 port units to replace switches in locations we originally had UBNT TS switches in (the TS is for "these suck"). We originally replaced them with Netgear switches and DLI POE24 units (for the POE's). Really just needed your good switching portion of the unit, as the sites are all running DC power, which the DLI units take care of!

Maybe without having to power a POE side of the unit, they could be made to run on a wide range of DC inputs, such as 12-48 volts, to be able to be used almost anywhere? (use a plug in wall ps for AC use)
