Flow control on Cisco

For those of you using flow control on Cisco router/switch, how do you enable it? I tried flowcontrol receive on, but it doesn't seem to be working. I'm currently trying to enable on ports to ePMP APs until we can install Netonix switches, then we'll need to enable between the Netonix and the Cisco. The output errors on the Cisco port continue to increment at around the same rate whether or not flow control is enabled.
