This has been done many times even by me.
Your sending 50+ volts to WS-6 and it steps down to 24V. If your WS-6 Mini is not rebooting you can probably rule out the WS-6 as the cause?
Possible problems:
1) Your not getting good contact on all 4 pairs but if you have a 1G connection to WS-6 MINI then that is not the issue as 1G requires all 8 wires.
2) Your POE Brick is bad.
3) Your Radio is bad, swap out and see.
4) Your MINI is defective, swap out and see.
WARNING: Your Rocket AC lite has access to tower Earth Ground and at this distance IO know your not binding tower ground to electrical service ground so you are bonding the 2 ground potentials through your Ethernet cable which means you will suffer damaged switch and or radio.Unless your using the WS-6-MINI to go vertical then it is possible your tower ground rods are indeed BONDED to your electrical service ground rods. If the is to reach out horizontal/vertical and not a tower then I would NOT ground the mount the radio is located on and as always if this is an older electrical service add 2 NEW ground rods and BOND to existing ground rods.99% of all WISP equipment damage is from ground current (I own a WISP)Another common cause for damage is a shorted cable or incorrect POE option applied to device. Here are some good posts on grounding:http://forum.netonix.com/viewtopic.php? ... 279#p19279 http://forum.netonix.com/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=1816 http://forum.netonix.com/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=188 http://forum.netonix.com/viewtopic.php? ... =30#p13447 http://forum.netonix.com/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=1429Read the posts above but the basics are as follow:Tower ground rods must be bonded to electrical service ground rods HEAVY #2 wire.
I always add 1 or 2 “new” ground rods to older existing electrical services.
