Certification Testing

Thu Dec 04, 2014 8:06 pm

Thought you guys might like to see the switch when it was being tested for certifications.

We will be posting the full test report and certificates on our certification page (which I have to sit down and create).

Plus I have been holding off posting the full report as it shows models we have not yet announced! :yikes:

I am working on getting an edited report only showing models currently announced! Pirate4

Aww, it looks so lonely in the chamber all by itself! Not sure which model that was, they all had to be tested separately.

Good news people! :willy:
We are getting closer to finalizing testing to increase the upper operating temperature limit for the WISP Switch line from 55C to 65C or 70C :yikes:

Now please note that the power supply will be slightly degraded at anything above 55C but they are convection cooled power supplies with forced air and I doubt they will run all the time that hot but they should not fail. Most Ethernet cable is NOT rated above 70C.
We build really tough switches! :rofl4:
