Switch is connected and traffic is passing through. . Goes down roughly for one minute and there is 30 MACs in the table, then it drops and once all the MACS are cleared it comes back up. This is happening over and over again. When it's up it's up for about one minute. When its down it's down for about three minutes.
Switch WS-12-250 DC
Version 1.4.8RC7
We change out switch and problem followed to new switch. Lots of customers down at this time.
Kind Regards

A schema and log would help. You need to give a maximum of information so we can help you. Seem like port goes down or that "loop protection", or STP, disable the port.

If STP enable on radios ? If so, disable it. You should also disable STP on the switch on port facing customer.

We disabled the STP. Things are coming back. Next question. Why would this be happening now. Anyone know what triggers this to happen. Switch has been up and running for over a year with no problems.

Hard to say. A loop was created ? A new customer device like a router react badly to BPDU ? A bridge device send BPDU back on both side of the bridge ? One thing is sure, you don't want STP, or any anything else that could affect your network, to be active on ports facing customers.

My apologies, I got this fixed by disabling STP, and had to travel the next day and forgot to reply. Many thanks to mike99 !
