Netonix as data centre handoff switch

Hi guys,

Just a quick query we are an ISP and starting to deliver more vpls circuits into data centres. Currently we use Mikrotik and Netonix for switching and routing and was hoping not to introduce another product line into our portfolio. Does anyone use Netonix for simple hand off in DCs? We would use them for rate limiting and q in q.

Obviously no POE which is a waste - any remote plans for a non POE versions?

Cheers!

The current line WS- is coming to an end as far as software development but will be built and maintained (bug fixes) for several years.

After the next release WS-26-XXX-XXX series which is a replacement for the WS-24-400X series which is due out soon.

Then a SCADA device, designed for SMALL remote WISP POPs and oil and gas industry.

Then next is WS2-26-XXX-AC (Generation 2) which is a Layer 3/4 switch (new core and different firmware) with active and passive POE along with SFP+ ports

Then we could do a NON or POE switch maybe WS-26-AC but we need to sale more units.

All it takes is money and we could build whatever people asked for, we have lots of ideas and partial done designs.

You could always help out by using RF Armor Cable and Ends, saves you money and feeds the machine.
